Warrior Vision - Customisable options breakdown

To make sure the Warrior Vision is perfect for any one on the road (or off the road), we have gone above and beyond to provide customisable options for you to choose from.  

Those options can be selected in the product page in the variant tabs.  Below is a simple explanation as to what those options mean for you, our recommendations, and some tips that you may want to be aware of

GPS - Provides for GPS functionality via the Mirror, and allows the utilisation of integrating this data with the appropriate software when you transfer the recorded footage to your computer.  Further information on this can be found in the product user manual.  Please take care when using this function during vehicle operation, and always keep your focus on the road.

Power supply  -  Power supply options are provided for convenient customisation.  The standard 5vlt power supply is via your vehicles cigar lighter socket.  The cable for this is long enough for descrete installation, and is the standard recommended option to go with.  More advanced users may wish to hardwire the unit to your car battery.

Car Battery power can be opted by purchasing the product with the ACC lead.  This will allow the mirror to be powered directly through the ignition, provides for less wiring within the cabin, and frees up your 5vlt socket for other usage.  This option may not provide the user with ignition off security features, but may be overcome with professional advice.  Installation is as easy as linking up the ACC cables correctly, and running the lead to your the Warrior Vision unit.  This cable is also available for seperate purchase should you wish to change power source down the track.

Rear Camera Length - The Standard 6m cable is sufficient for all standard vehicle types.  Only opt for the 10m length cable if you drive a longer than normal vehicle such as US pick-up trucks, caravans, commerical vehicles, Y62 Patrols, etc.  You may wish to measure the length of your vehicle, and allow for an extra bit of length for discrete cabling.

Extension Cables - For those who travel with something in tow, such as a canopy, boat trailer, commercial trailer, caravan, semi trailer trucks etc, it is reccomended that you purchase a Water Resistant 4 pin AV extension cable.  This option will soon be available through our online store.

Please note that when useing extension cables, your warranty may be effected if damage is caused as a result of poor diligence, poor products, or faults un-related to manufacturer defects.

Camera Placement & Software Tips - The rear camera has the option of having the image vertically flipped in the software.  The reason for this is simple, flexible camera placement.  You may wish to install the mirror on the exterior of your vehicle, and this option will allow you to do so with ease.  We recommend external camera installation for most advanced users, so as to provide you the best possible image quality, unmitigated viewing angles, and an overall superior experience.  The rear camera comes with the highest rated climate resistance for this very purpose.
